Its Friday and i am sitting at my desk. I dont have to work here again for 6 weeks, so fuck it. Here is a tribute to my favorite band of all time.

MAX MSP

HOly Shit...
Ok I realize this is mayby the nerdiest thing ever. But seriously.
There is a program I have been messing around with very little for the past few years.
Its called MAX MSP. It is used to create physical interactive environments to control audio sources. (stay with me). This guy used it to create a sub-program called Miss-pinky...
And built it so he could run a patch that would direct the audio coming in from a mic, using regular vinyl. Its basically just like serato, but you dont need any external hardware. ANd Its LIVE!!!

DJ Shadow Band

This may not be that new, but its the first i have heard about it.
There is a band called the "shadow sessions". It is a full piece live band.
They are working on a record right now where they play every song off of DJ Shadows "Entroducing". Amazing idea. Listen to the drums!

Me and Turbo where having a discussion about this movie the other night, and i felt inspired.

KW vs. DP

i am not sure exactly how i feel about this. its one of the best daft-punk songs ever, and i typically hate the fuck outta kanye, but i this track is hitting me right for some reason. the question still remains. did kanye hit up DP to make a hip-hop version of this track. Or did Kanye straight jack it (probably) and then invite them to be in the video? and is it even them in the video? did someone jack the DP suits and they have nothing to do with this at all? Check back in with me in a week when i hate this song.
